Job Description 

• Creating financial statements for upper management
• Assisting the CFO in preparing monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports
• Ensuring all accounting practices are in compliance with legal guidelines and established accounting principles
• Assisting with billing and tax documentation preparation
• Identifying solutions to discrepancies in financial records
• Assist CFO with management of all accounting operations
• Coordinate and assist with the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements as required by the CFO.
• Coordinate and assist with the preparation of regulatory reporting including annual and periodic program review audits
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance and CFO as needed
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting 

Requirements 

• 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
• CPA / ACCA finalist required
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Experience with financial statement preparation for all types of legal entities
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
• Experience in preparing and review of partnership, corporate, payroll and UAE-related tax filings
• Experience with pre-opening of F&B outlets within the UAE is highly preferred.
• Experience with various accounting software administration
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively
