JOB PURPOSE


Marketing Manager role is to progressively promote the image and products of the  company  through various marketing channels maintaining the Brand at the forefront of the market. These ways including but not limited to advertising, press releases, using all social media platforms and promotion.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES


Strategy, Planning & Reporting


  • Researching and reporting on external opportunities, understanding current and potential market trends, developing the marketing strategy and plan, management of the marketing mix and managing budgets.
  • Lead the development of marketing and communication plans and budgets, policies, systems, processes and procedures to ensure the consistent application and ease of operation and to translate the marketing strategy into operational action plans/ projects and achieve or exceed the business objectives. 
  • Prepare and release relevant reports to provide Management with timely information to monitor the progress of marketing initiatives for effective decision making and business growth.
  • Propose and manage operational plans marketing budget in accordance with the approved annual marketing plan & company objectives.

Marketing & PR
  • Plan, strategies and execute marketing activities including press releases, advertisement, and events to establish, maintain and strengthen brand presence in the market
  • Social Media Plan: Ensures that social media platforms are being utilized effectively. Measured by number of “likes” members, participation etc.
  • Conduct competitive strategic analysis, consumer segmentation, and consumer insight development to provide counsel and recommendations to all marketing & communication tactics that will boost brand image.
  • Through review and analysis of sales results of the products and services determine future business developments opportunities for the brand.
  • Establish and continuously foster an excellent rapport with the media in order to maximize positive press coverage of all the companies activities and products

Promotional
  • Ensure the designs and messages in marketing literature and campaigns meet the company brand and regulatory guidelines.
  • Liaise with graphic designers, copy writers, media buyer and prints to ensure fresh and flawless design & quality
  • Monitor client reactions through branch feedback from Brand Manager & Asst. Brand Manager and social media
  • Develop tools in order to support the increase of sales such a loyalty programs, etc. and collaterals
  • Provide writing and editing support for all outbound member communication including all promotional materials, website content, a monthly newsletter and Board Meeting report
  • Ensure that the company website is being managed effectively
