Our client

Our client is providing an advanced transport network for the people of Dubai. They have been high on the government’s agenda, which is evident from its initiatives to enhance the public transport facilities and improve roads across the emirate to make travel safer and smoother. Our client is responsible for planning and providing the requirements of transport, roads & traffic in the United Arab Emirates.


About the position 

Develop and implement standards, methodologies, processes, procedures, policies and international best practices for the Agency and ensure the overall quality and reporting of all projects across the Agency to the highest management. 


Key results accountabilities 

  • Provide support to Projects/Program Mangers in the agencies.
  • Perform other responsibilities related to the position as appropriate.
  • Coordinate with the concerned parties to follow up the implementation of the departments operational plans related to projects and programs and ensure they are achievable and that related risks are identified.
  • Reviewing updating all project information monthly on electronic systems relating to project follow-ups.
  • Assist on the development of the annual budget in coordination with the concerned parties.
  • Review continuously planned and executed projects and program to ensure reports preparation and submit them on time to the concerned persons and PMO team.
  • Follow-up and financial analysis in the strategic and operational plan, KPIs and budget for all activities related to the department to align with the strategic plan. 
  • Ensure that project/program/portfolio management policies and methodologies are implemented and ensure compliance with PMO team directives.
  • Participate in local and international awards.
  • Measure projects performance and benchmark it against international best practices in coordination with PMO team.
  • Follow up the completion of projects with the required budget and on time. 

Knowledge, skills and experience 
  1. Bachelor’s in Information Technology/Computer Engineering/ Telecommunication Engineering  from a recognized university with minimum 11 years of experience. 

  2. Goal-driven leader who maintains a productive climate and confidently motivates, mobilizes, and coaches employees to meet high performance standards. 

  3. Results-driven achiever with exemplary planning and organizational skills, along with a high degree of detail orientation.

  4. Flexible team player who thrives in environments requiring ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple concurrent projects.

  5. Innovative problem-solver who can generate workable solutions and resolve complaints.

  6. Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing.

  7. Resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues.

  8. 10 years of relevant working experience.

  9. Highly analytical thinking with demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining complex work processes.

  10. Computer-literate performer with extensive software proficiency covering wide variety of applications
