One of their segments, is currently looking for a passionate and driven Sales Engineer to be based in, Saudi Arabia.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
  • Proven track record of handling LV Drives system sales in all business segments.
  • Strong background and understanding of LV Drives business in W&WW, HVAC, COG and other industrial segments.
  • Day-to-day activity with EPCs, System Integrators and End-users of major projects in Saudi market.
  • Strong exposure and understanding of Saudi market, mainly in W&WW and HVAC segments for all of mega projects.
  • Strong network and relationship with EPCs, System Integrators, consultants and End Users within, Water &WW HVAC, DCP and Oil and Gas.
  • Conduct presentations/seminars on regular basis and provide technical specifications and collateral to clients.
  • Implement plans for new customer acquisition and segments.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships to keep customers loyal to the company.
  • Gain good knowledge on competitors' offering and value proposition in standalone drive solutions.
  • Understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product/systems offering, and align to provide feasible solution.
  • Perform prospecting activities and proactively collecting necessary market information and feedback to obtain a competitive advantage

 

 

Background & Skills

  • The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
  • A qualified electrical engineer with 7+ years of experience in Drives' sales and support function gained from Saudi Arabian market.
  • A proactive salesperson with strong passion for Drives. Talented in channel or partner management
  • Skilled in conflict management.
  • Has a good understanding of drives market, application knowledge, and drives opportunities within various industries.
  • Experience in handling customers of different profiles such as EPC, Switchgear, System integrator, OEM, End-user, etc.
  • Experience in preparing proposal, submittal and following up on the approval process.
  • Has excellent communication skills along with a customer-focused attitude and a strong drive for results.
  • Good marketing knowledge and innovative in sales approach
  • Ability to prioritize, focus, and complete most critical tasks while handling multiple assignments with shifting priorities.
  • Fluent in English (both written and oral), and preferably in Arabic as well.
