About the client 
Our client is providing an advanced transport network for the people of Dubai. They have been high on the government’s agenda, which is evident from its initiatives to enhance the public transport facilities and improve roads across the emirate to make travel safer and smoother. Our client is responsible for planning and providing the requirements of transport, roads & traffic in the United Arab Emirates.

About the position

To provide strategic input by reviewing, updating & developing all human resources operations in each Agency/ Sector. To ensure that they comply with the central strategy of human resources management, development, procedures and policies 

Key results accountabilities 

  • Review & recommend updates for defined policies and processes that support the client and Agency/Sector strategy and objectives.

  • Use and understand HR tools and policies, to ensure their compliance across the designated Agency/ Sector.

  • Work with HR&D department to ensure that tools and policies are aligned, enhance employee engagement and ultimately improve performance

  • Identify current & future manpower requirements and recommend long & short-term Manpower plans, identify future directions for the positions and required competencies in coordination with the organizational units in the Agency / sector.

  • Assess initiatives on regular basis that may impact manpower requirements

  • Drive consistency of approach across the Agency/sector in attracting, managing and developing talent to support current and future needs.

  • Use data and analysis to measure the effectiveness of tools and policies, and assess the current situation for further improvement. 

Knowledge, skills and experience 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in human resources / Business Administration from a recognized University.

  • Results-driven achiever with exemplary planning and organizational skills, along with a high degree  of detail orientation.

  • Certified assessor from a reputed institution

  • Flexible team player who thrives in environments requiring ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple concurrent projects.

  • Innovative problem-solver who can generate workable solutions and resolve complaints.

  • Goal-driven leader who maintains a productive climate and confidently motivates, mobilizes, and coaches employees to meet high performance standards.

  • Certified CIPD- SHRM

  • Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing.

  • Resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues.

  • 8 years of relevant working experience

  • Highly analytical thinking with demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining complex work processes.

  • Computer-literate performer with extensive software proficiency covering wide variety of applications
