About the client
Our client is providing an advanced transport network for the people of Dubai. They have been high on the government’s agenda, which is evident from its initiatives to enhance the public transport facilities and improve roads across the emirate to make travel safer and smoother. Our client is responsible for planning and providing the requirements of transport, roads & traffic in the United Arab Emirates.
About the position
The role is responsible to develop, maintain and oversee the benchmarking framework, as well as provide professional advice and take a lead role on all policy and technical matters related to the development and implementation of benchmarking and promote its practices within the organisation.
Key results accountabilities
- Provides professional guidance and advice to the section manager
- Reviews and develops benchmarking sources and perspectives
- Conducts knowledge transfer sessions on benchmarking approaches and methodologies for other staff in the section
- Reviews and develops benchmarking process and define related key performance indicators for benchmarking cases
- Conducts training sessions and initiatives to create awareness in benchmarking, on a periodical basis for the organisations staff
- Any additional responsibilities as advised by the section Manager or Director
- Reviews and develops current practices and approaches in benchmarking the scope selection and definition of best practices that organizations worldwide follow in line with the organisations various businesses
- Prepares & develops all documentations required for benchmarking policies and methodologies in addition to the presentations
- Oversees the annual planning activity for benchmarking across the organisation and plays a proactive role in assisting sectors and agencies in drafting their plans and reviewing them on a timely basis
- Identifies core business benchmarking opportunities in coordination with agencies and sectors in the organisation
Knowledge, skills & experience
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration from a recognized university 9+years of work experience
- Flexible team player who effectively prioritizes and juggles between multiple concurrent projects
- Analytical thinking for identifying, improving, and streamlining complex work processes
- Results-driven achiever with exemplary planning and organizational skills, along with a high degree of detail orientation
- Conversant with the computer, web, and wide variety of applications
- Resourceful team player who can build trusting relationship with stakeholders
