Our client:

Our client is part of a globally competitive industrial sector based on innovation and transforming national resources into sustainable wealth.

Their role is to advance industrialisation and diversification away from oil through the creation of profitable companies that might not be developed by the private sector alone. The company focuses on investments in the Kingdom through joint venture partnerships with global industry leaders.

Responsibilities:

Oversight of FEED projects
Oversight of EPC bidding & selection process
Oversight of EPC project
Completes technical concept studies and due diligence activities for potential investments, including management of the contractors.
Lead and prepare accurate cost estimates (+-40%) for potential investments, ensuring investment teams have all CAPEX and technical information required to make a sound investment decision.
Lead discussions with land and utility providers to ensure that investments are feasible and technically planned for.
Management of internal budgets for technical studies such as due diligence, Pre-FEED, and FEED.
Provides technical input for deal legal agreements, such as training agreements, asset purchase agreements, cost-sharing agreements, and joint venture agreements.
Provides technical input required for investment funding arrangements.
Provides technical consultation to the investment team throughout the investment lifecycle.
Contributes to the company investment process by continually analysing the technical needs and requirements.
Work with the procurement team to ensure that technical framework agreements are in place and fit for purpose for key suppliers.
Development of technical budgets.
Development of schedules of technical activities to ensure that deal timelines are accurate and known.
Provides technical updates to all internal organisational levels, including board level.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Build strong business relationships with external stakeholders.
Responsible and accountable for the technical internal targets (KPIs).
Need to monitor the execution and management of the project.

Qualifications/Skills:

Min BA in Mechanical- or Electrical Engineering (Masters is a plus)
5-7 years experience total (Combination of in-field experience with projects & experience in consultancy firms)
