About the position:

In this position you have to promote the complete range of our clients products and services within the Gulf Community Countries. Implement the Gulf FZCO’s sales and marketing strategy, identify and qualify leads while consistently closing business in order to meet or exceed the sales quota/budget. Networking is key to this position, and developing strong relationships with all strategic clients within the regional design / architectural / commercial agent / project management community is imperative. The end goal is a strategic positioning of the company as a quality brand in the region, whist maintaining strong sales, generating business opportunities and subsequently closing the sale.


  • Part of the Sales team and work as 1 team.
  • Prepare yearly sales plan and budget.
  • Achieve sales budget and pre-defined targets.
  • Complete pre-qualification procedures with potential clients and consultants.
  • Visit existing and potential clients.
  • Negotiate contracts.
  • Follow up on and obtain approvals on submittals (drawings, samples, etc.)
  • Debt collection.
  • Establish and maintain good customer relationships with clients at all times.
  • Obtain written feed-back from customers on customer (dis)satisfaction.
  • Convert allocated opportunities to sales.
  • Adhere to any reporting or procedures as deemed appropriate by the Managing Director.
  • Undertake any reasonable requests made by the Managing Director.
  • Be personally and professionally responsible to ensure that all project management tasks are done to the highest of standards and manage this process internally.
  • Attend and arrange offsite meetings with pre-selected designers.
  • Produce quotes as and when required.
  • Maintain shared databases.
  • Maintain Gulf FZCO key account business.


Requirements:

  • High level of professional and intellectual ability (e.g. degree or higher professional education in business administration, business economics).
  • At least 5-years’ experience in an international commercial B to B environment with demonstrably successful achievement of improvements in performance.
  • Knowledge working in the United Arab Emirates.
  • Additional study programmes/courses relating to Facilities Management, Real Estate and/or Marketing.
  • Preferably has an up-to-date network of influencers in the fields of Facility, Procurement and Real Estate.
  • Sound knowledge of the furnishings and fittings market and experience of complex (inter)national tender processes.
  • Has an understanding of business economics.
  • Sound knowledge of PC applications, particularly in relation to presentation.
  • Good command of English (Essential) and preferable other languages common in GCC, both oral and written.
  • Holds a driving licence.
