They provide tailor-made solutions that matches to their customer’s needs, with offices in Dubai, San Francisco, Barcelona and Stockholm. All of their consultants and project managers are able to work hands-on, not “just” manage projects or lead people. They want people who want to come onboard and are eager to be experts in their field. They have an annual certification allowance, and plan together with each team member on how she or he wants to grow.
About the position:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Developer to join our clients team. As a Developer, you will specialise in advanced customisations that go beyond platform configuration or customisation alone. Your role will be crucial in crafting innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our projects. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong programming skills, a deep understanding of software design patterns, and the ability to contribute to projects at various stages of development.
Responsibilities:
- Advanced Programming Skills: Demonstrate a deep understanding of programming languages and proficiency in multiple languages.
- Design Patterns: Apply knowledge of software design patterns to enhance coding practices.
- Database Skills: Possess proficiency in working with databases, including SQL, NoSQL, and data modeling.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices and coding standards.
- Debugging and Optimization: Exhibit advanced debugging skills and the ability to optimize code for performance.
- Frameworks and Libraries: Be familiar with relevant frameworks and libraries, choosing the right tools for the job.
- Security Awareness: Understand common security vulnerabilities and adhere to best practices for secure coding.
- API Design and Integration: Build and integrate APIs into applications.
- Architecture and System Design: Design complex software systems, considering scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Full-Stack Development: Demonstrate proficiency in both front-end and back-end development, architecting full-stack applications.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Take on leadership roles, guide junior team members, and make technical decisions.
- Code Review: Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
- Project Management: Understand project management methodologies and take on project management roles.
- DevOps and CI/CD: Be familiar with DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Cloud Computing: Possess knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for scalable and cloud-native development.
- Soft Skills: Exhibit excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Interact with stakeholders and make high-level technical decisions.
- Innovation: Introduce modern technologies, tools, and practices to improve development processes.
- Domain Knowledge: Develop deep knowledge in a specific domain or industry, becoming a domain expert.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Developer with a focus on advanced customisations.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages and a diverse set of technical skills.
- Experience with database systems, security practices, and API development.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
