Job purpose: 

Responsible for the management of all aspects of the outlets in accordance with the hotel standards. Directs implements and maintains a service and management philosophy, which serves as a guide to respective associates 


Principle Accountabilities: 

  • Maintain an understanding of all areas of responsibility, including venue & hotel knowledge 
  • Be responsible for managing cleanliness & maintenance of the venue, with the support of the housekeeping & engineering teams 
  • Establish par levels for supplies and equipment. Work with management team to ensure requisitions are made based on the needs of the business 
  • Work with the culinary team to review specials and menu items when necessary
  • Work with the Marketing team to come up with promotions for the venue 
  • Maintain a complete awareness of the business goals, sharing with, and motivating the team to deliver 
  • Attend the daily F&B meeting
  • Attend the monthly leadership meeting 
  • Take accountability for the outlets P&L statement & forecasting of the business 
  • Oversee the preparation of the weekly schedules based on business demand and manning guidelines 
  • Oversee performance management for all direct report enthusiasts, Handle disciplinary problems and counsel accordingly

  • Provides a personalised service to all guests 
  • Encourages positive feedback through GSS and online reviews 
  • Committed to maintaining a safe working environment for guests, enthusiasts and suppliers, by understanding fire safety and emergency procedures 
  • Ensures that all activities are carried out honestly, ethically and within the parameters of the UAE law 
  • Respects all individuals, fellow enthusiasts and guests alike 
  • Creates a fun working environment to build a positive morale and team spirit 
  • Attends meetings and training as required by departmental trainers 
  • Keeps their knowledge up to date about all of the hotels products and services 
  • Delivers vibrant hospitality! 
  • Supports the Leadership team as and when is requested 


Qualifications, experience & competencies:


Education: Degree/ Diploma in Hospitality/ Business Management preferred OR Previously undergone basic supervisory / management development training certification. PIC Certificate or similar food hygiene certificate. 

 

Experience: 3 years of experience as a restaurant/bar supervisor in a similar environment. Understanding of Hotel Operations. 

 

Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Experience in MICROS or similar POS system Excellent written & verbal communication skills. 

 

Competencies: Leads By Example, Builds Relationships.
