They have been high on the government’s agenda, which is evident from its initiatives to enhance the public transport facilities and improve roads across the emirate to make travel safer and smoother. Our client is responsible for planning and providing the requirements of transport, roads & traffic in the United Arab Emirates.

Job purpose:

Propose plans and provide advice as an expert on strategic cases, projects, and best administrative and operational practices in the licensing institution to the Executive Director in line with existing rules and regulations to protect the interests of partners.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Provide advice when needed regarding operations and cases related to the management system to ensure key strategic issues are identified early to protect the long-term strategic interests of the license.
• Applying quality standards and requirements.
• Preparing visual presentations for licensing on behalf of the Authority and drafting technical papers at international conferences to introduce the Authority and the licensing institution.
• Conduct business analysis, identify change requirements and recommend action plans and solutions to the senior management team
• Perform other tasks and responsibilities related to the job and as assigned
• Assess the technical capabilities and experience of new employees in the organization and provide support to the Authority and the licensing institution in addressing important change management needs
• Providing independent review and audit of licensing departments in terms of resource capacity, efficiency, and ability to implement licensing institution projects
• Independently review the performance of the licensing institution and individual management systems and report on the results to the Executive Director
• Ensure the development and maintenance of key performance indicators for the licensing institution to enable effective monitoring of the institution’s performance
• Ensure management objectives are presented to the CEO in a timely manner
• Providing data and progress reports on the performance of the licensing institution and projects related to clients
• Preparing periodic reports to the Director General and Executive Director of the licensing institution and the executive directors when necessary or requested
• Establish team links to all workflows and ensure the reliability and integrity of information channels within the licensing institution
• Directing and analyzing statistical data and reports to determine the causes of problems in the licensing institution and developing recommendations and solutions for improvement
• Ensure that issues relating to reliability, availability, maintainability and safety are taken into account when planning Dubai's licensing systems and scrutinize decision requests and reports in order to provide decision-making support to the CEO
• Benchmarking the performance of the licensing institution with international best practices and providing continuous development proposals and initiatives. Monitoring ongoing efforts to improve customer experience and operational requirements to provide an effective program to correct and bridge operational and administrative gaps.
• Compliance with the Authority’s policy regarding partners, customers, suppliers and employees, and carrying out duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Authority’s procedures and rules
• Providing advice in developing the validity and effectiveness of customer service projects and the value of their impact on customers, evaluating and recommending modifications during implementation to meet the needs of the project and customers.

Qualification:

Doctorate degree in Business Administration from an accredited university
