About the position:

• Building/maintaining business processes of retail and eCom trade, wholesale trade in accordance with the current accounting and tax laws of the GCC countries (UAE (freezone and Mainland), Qatar, and subsequently other GCC countries)
• Promptly informing management about all changes in local tax/accounting legislation affecting the company’s business processes
• Providing information to management on all methodological issues (accounting, accounting, traceability of goods) necessary for opening a business in the GCC countries
• Analysis of contracts for the presence of accounting / tax risks
• Entering primary documents into 1C First BIT, monitoring document downloads from external systems, checking payment requests, performing control procedures when closing periods
• Submission of accounting, tax, statistical reporting of legal entities of the GCC countries, maintaining personnel document flow
• Answers to tax requirements, including as part of desk and counter audits for all taxes. Interaction with tax authorities on all emerging issues
• Assistance on all related issues that arise in the country of incorporation when opening a legal entity (registration with the tax office, funds, payment of the management company, registration of employees, etc.)
• Active interaction with IT, setting technical specifications, testing and acceptance of work

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience as an accountant with the functionality of full accounting and tax accounting in retail with the option of submitting all necessary types of reporting to regulatory authorities (UAE, Qatar), undergoing audits, tax inspections
• Experience in accounting in an online store is desirable
• Experience in 1C First BIT
• Professional knowledge of accounting and tax legislation of the UAE, Qatar
• Professional education
• Ability to coordinate a team and build business processes

• Professional knowledge of the Microsoft Office software package
