Our client

Our client is providing an advanced transport network for the people of Dubai. They have been high on the government’s agenda, which is evident from its initiatives to enhance the public transport facilities and improve roads across the emirate to make travel safer and smoother. Our client is responsible for planning and providing the requirements of transport, roads & traffic in the United Arab Emirates.

Job purpose

Manage and fully responsible for application governance and technology quality policies and procedures, and to establish solid technology quality management practices across the company that improves technology systems and services effectiveness and efficiency. Provide Support and participate the Director in planning , managing and overseeing the implementation of current & future department plans & projects .

Key results accountabilities

Technology Governance: Manages risk-based audits of existing and planned technology projects and systems and Identifies areas of risk and evaluates adequacy and effectiveness of the clients approach to risk in use of technology to mitigate and reduce risk exposure
Information Technology Suppliers: Oversees and measures the fulfilment of suppliers’ quality related contractual obligations. Uses key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and challenge supplier performance and identify opportunities for improvement
Technology Quality : Takes responsibility for the control, update and distribution of technology quality standards and policies and advises on the application of technology quality and sustainability management techniques
Technology Governance: Ensures compliance of technology departments and systems with application governance framework, policies, and controls and reports on the compliance outputs from AGF review processes and audits
Programs and Projects: Plans, directs, and coordinates activities to manage and implement technology quality assurance and AGF programs and projects

Knowledge, skills and experience

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering from a recognized university

Results-driven achiever with exemplary planning and organizational skills, along with a high degree of detail orientation.
Knowledge in ISO quality management standards
Flexible team player who thrives in environments requiring ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple concurrent projects.
Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing.
Ability to initiate and direct quality improvement projects in support of strategic and operational goals.
7 years of working experience including at least 3 years in supervisory / leadership role.
Computer-literate performer with extensive software proficiency covering wide variety of applications.
Knowledge on latest developments of service management practices
Innovative problem-solver who can generate workable solutions and resolve complaints.
Resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues.
Highly analytical thinking with demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining complex work processes.
