Through their work they facilitate dynamic exchanges among proactive leaders from diverse political and economic backgrounds, ultimately driving the global conversation forward.


Job purpose:

As a Strategic Partnerships Manager, you’ll be responsible for both local and international markets and serve as the bridge between the relevant stakeholders. You’ll be responsible for building long-term positive relationships that are mutually beneficial to meet business goals & objectives. Strong business acumen is a must in order to develop strategies to secure new partnerships, retain partners, present insights, and communicate effectively to solve problems as they arise.


The Strategic Partnerships Manager drives and manages our biggest and most strategic client accounts. Our objective is to continue strong business growth across all relevant countries - driving growth at a regional level - on the back of strong partner relationships, solid commercial propositions, and operational performance. Ideally a good left and right brain; both a thinker and a doer: able to analyze complex information and think critically - yet also able to execute meticulously, communicating well with both internal and external stakeholders to get the job done effectively.


Accountabilities: 

  • Build effective relationships with key external partners to enhance collaboration and understanding.
  • Articulate advantages of products and services to stakeholders.
  • Resolve and execute upon the needs and interests of our partner brands.
  • Adjust effectively to frequently changing work assignments.
  • Proactively seek to find creative solutions to meet internal brand performance important metrics.
  • Handle and respond to objections and contentions.
  • Establish credibility and rapport with existing partners.
  • Use effective techniques to explicitly understand partners' needs.
  • Prioritize order growth, with current client base as the measure of success and mentor Partners on the vital steps to achieve this in their business.
  • Strategic Account Management: Accountability for growing and retaining strategic accounts by ensuring overall brand happiness and delivering on bold plans to become the number one aggregator for these partners with a steadfast focus on ensuring that the relationship with these clients is fully optimized and deliver the expected value.

Job requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent years of experience
  • Minimum 8 years in a client-facing role ideally customer success /partner success, managing relationships with large, global and complex structures.
  • Experience in managing regional markets and ideally rich of international experiences.
  • Strong executive presence and presentation skills particularly for in-person/virtual meetings with stakeholders
  • Sound understanding of underlying drivers and strategy of our customers' businesses.
  • Post Graduate degree
