Job role summary:

 Responsible for the management of all aspects of the outlets in accordance with the hotel standards. Directs implements and maintains a service and management philosophy, which serves as a guide to respective associates.

 

Job responsibilities:

  •  Maintain an understanding of all areas of responsibility, including venue & hotel knowledge.
  • Responsible for managing cleanliness & maintenance of the venue, with the support of the housekeeping & engineering teams.
  • Work with the culinary team to review specials and menu items when necessary.
  • Work with the Marketing team to come up with promotions for the venue.
  • Maintain a complete awareness of the business goals, sharing with, and motivating the team to deliver.
  • Attend the monthly leadership meeting.
  • Take accountability for the outlets P&L statement & forecasting of the business.
  • Oversee the preparation of the weekly schedules based on business demand and manning guidelines.
  • Work with Assistant Manager/Supervisor on general shift management
  • Check for status of all orders and ensure that they are delivered within designated timelines.
  • Assist stars during the shift to ensure a go beyond experience for the guests.
  • Prepare the departmental training calendar with the departmental trainers, considering the training needs analysis
  • Conduct on-job training sessions when required.
  • With the assistance of the P&C department, recruit new enthusiasts when required.
  • Monitor guest feedback frequently, ensuring complete satisfaction.
  • Build relationships with guests, securing a database of regular guest data.
  • Responsible for preparing and submit daily/weekly payroll and tip distribution record.
  • Have a strong understanding of UAE liquor & H&S regulations.

Qualifications, experience & competencies:


Education: Degree/ Diploma in Hospitality/ Business Management preferred OR Previously undergone basic supervisory / management development training certification. PIC Certificate or similar food hygiene certificate. 

 

Experience: 3 years of experience as a restaurant/bar supervisor in a similar environment. Understanding of Hotel Operations. 

 

Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Experience in MICROS or similar POS system Excellent written & verbal communication skills. 

 

Competencies: Leads By Example, Builds Relationships.
