About the position:

As a member of the Management team, you will work in partnership with line managers and business leaders to achieve shared organisational objectives, in particular designing and implementing systems and processes that support strategic business aims and build a positive employee experience.

 

The role of HR Manager will be responsible for operating, providing, and implementing various human resources and administration functions of the company. The role will require the day-to-day management and administration of the operations, its staff, and any tasks/objectives deemed necessary by the company relative to these areas.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the employee lifecycle across GCC including hiring & onboarding, learning & talent development, culture & engagement and compensation & benefits.
  • Prepare all necessary documentation for the onboarding and off-boarding of all employees and monitor to ensure tasks are completed within required timeframes.
  • Work in conjunction with business leadership to ensure people and culture actions are aligned to the overarching goals of the organisation.
  • Create and develop HR solutions which enable line managers to effectively manage, engage and grow their people.
  • Work with the business to identify and plan annual hiring needs across GCC.
  • Support hiring managers in defining role specifications, identifying appropriate sourcing channels and the assessment and selection process.
  • Help build a positive employer brand using various channels of marketing, not limited to social media, company website, job boards, employee referrals, recruitment events.

  • Advise on related laws, restrictions and regulations, procedures, and updates on government regulations and initiatives related to the UAE labour law and law governing the employees in the respective Jurisdiction.
  • Be the owner of employee data relating to pay and ensuring the appropriate controls are in place to ensure data protection and confidentiality.
  • Help to develop training programs alongside HR colleagues and outside suppliers where needed to provide learning opportunities to employees.

 

 

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in the HR field in the UAE.
  • Exposure to the AV industry or a B2B distributor would be advantageous, but not required.
  • Experience of advising managers on all aspects of people management and development.
  • Experience in defining, implementing, and managing HR policies and procedures.
  • Previous experience in managing recruitment activities effectively.
  • Strong skills in Advanced Excel.
  • Excellent knowledge of UAE employment laws and practices.
  • Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
  • You are an effective communicator with good interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with staff at all levels.
