Our client is providing an advanced transport network for the people of Dubai. They have been high on the government’s agenda, which is evident from its initiatives to enhance the public transport facilities and improve roads across the emirate to make travel safer and smoother. Our client is responsible for planning and providing the requirements of transport, roads & traffic in the United Arab Emirates.

Job Purpose

To develop and implement and follow up the Quality and Excellence requirement and best practices related to ISO standards and the Dubai Government Excellence Program, and to provide strategic direction to achieve Quality & excellence objectives and targets.

Key Results Accountabilities

• Disaster and emergency preparedness processes (internal and external) for continuity of operation through maintaining continuity in supply systems, with alternate arrangements.
• Manage & Ensure to participate actively, and provide advice and assistance to assign cross functional improvement activities.
• Plan, organize, direct, and control the excellence function and related activities.
• Maintain relevant statistics and issue progress reports on all issues related to the excellence program.
• Quality policies, procedures & guidance application & its implementation in accordance with best practices.
• Effective Management systems performance and Organization Effectiveness.
• Completion of Documentation including counseling remarks, identification of training and development needs of employees..
• Strategic management support within the sector through production of QA/QC documents and Quality management plans.
• SMART business objectives with preset targets and KPIs.
• Management Review on Quality issues, performance, inspection / audit findings, progress towards the objectives & targets of sector.
• Deployment & dissemination of appropriate Knowledge management system for knowledge sharing / transfer across the organization.
• Develop, cascade, Monitor & communicate.
• Develop(formulate, review & update) & Ensure Compliance with Quality policy and procedures of the sector.
• Identify and manage areas of Quality concern within all functions of the sector.
• Quality and Excellence Management.
• Technical expertise and managerial support to Quality and excellence issues.
• Quality Operational Plan in line with sector practices.
• Facilitate integration of disaster plan with that of agencies which respond to community emergencies.
• Delivery of training courses to sector staffs in relevant areas.
• Sector Top Management with implementation of actions required after review.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or from a recognized University. Master preferred.
• Goal-driven leader who maintains a productive climate and confidently motivates, mobilizes, and coaches employees to meet high performance standards.
• Results-driven achiever with exemplary planning and organizational skills, along with a high degree of detail orientation.
• Flexible team player who thrives in environments requiring ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple concurrent projects.
• 7 years of related experience.Certification (EFQM / DGEP / DQA / SKGEP), Quality Certification (ISO certified Auditor)
• Innovative problem-solver who can generate workable solutions and resolve complaints.
• Experience in Quality, Excellence, Auditor and evaluation on Excellence and Quality Program.
• Resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing.
• Highly analytical thinking with demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining complex work processes.
• Computer-literate performer with extensive software proficiency covering wide variety of applications.
