A Technical Sales Specialist is a versatile professional who is responsible for driving the sales and growth of the company's Geoscience and Data Management Software products. The role requires a combination of technical, sales, and customer relationship management skills, as well as a deep understanding of geoscience workflows, data management best practices, and data science methodologies.
One of the main responsibilities of a Technical Sales Specialist is to work closely with the sales team and potential clients to identify their needs and requirements and to develop tailored software solutions that can address their specific challenges. This involves providing technical expertise and guidance on the capabilities and benefits of the company’s Geoscience and Data Management Software products, as well as conducting product demonstrations and technical presentations to showcase the value of these solutions.
In terms of data management expertise, a Technical Sales Specialist should have a strong understanding of best practices for managing geoscience data. They should be able to provide guidance and support to clients on how to streamline their data management workflows, ensure data quality and consistency, and enable collaboration and sharing of data across teams and departments.
