Our client
Our client is providing an advanced transport network for the people of Dubai. They have been high on the government’s agenda, which is evident from its initiatives to enhance the public transport facilities and improve roads across the emirate to make travel safer and smoother. Our client is responsible for planning and providing the requirements of transport, roads & traffic in the United Arab Emirates.
Job Purpose
Creating and maintaining data architectures focused on goals and customer needs that capitalize on business intelligence, big data and machine learning technologies to improve the value of data, improve the effectiveness of information stewardship, and streamline the flow of data across the organisation which provide top management with the required insights.
Key Results Accountabilities
- Providing specialized expertise to the manager of the Artificial Intelligence and Data Science section and focusing on the use of available capabilities such as the big data platform and the artificial intelligence platform from the point of view of the organizational architecture.
- Support in the development of policies and processes for a section of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science and work to improve the building of artificial intelligence and data science use cases from an architecture point of view and online with best practices and global trends.
- Identify new and emerging business-relevant information technologies and open-source data and assess their relevance to strategy and structure
- Provide accurate input during the development of RFPs and evaluation of vendor proposals in data management-related areas
- Participate in the services of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science and the processes for processing information related to the use cases of artificial intelligence and data science and ensure compliance with the best architectural frameworks that contribute to the optimal use of available resources and capabilities and facilitate the processes of managing data models and machine learning models
- Developing a complete visualization of the data structure through the big data platform, which contributes to building a complete data warehouse, which facilitates decision-making processes
- Ensure and review all code sources for AI and data science use cases, ensure they are in line with best standards, and report any incompatibilities
- Performing the tasks and responsibilities of the teams and committees assigned to them
- Developing and maintaining data structure models, including conceptual, logical and physical models, and ensuring that the architecture repository includes the latest data structure models
- Ensure compliance with data architecture principles and standards for various systems and components
- Providing specialized advice to project
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Bachelors’ Degree in information technology, Computer Sciences or Computer Engineering from a recognized university.
- 8 years of working experience
- Results-driven achiever with exemplary planning and organizational skills, along with a high degree of detail
- Innovative problem-solver who can generate workable solutions and resolve complaints
- Highly analytical thinking with demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining complex work processes.
- Excellent working knowledge of business process automation and business application standards, frameworks, and design patterns
