They have been high on the government’s agenda, which is evident from its initiatives to enhance the public transport facilities and improve roads across the emirate to make travel safer and smoother. Our client is responsible for planning and providing the requirements of transport, roads & traffic in the United Arab Emirates.

Job Purpose

Responsible to manage roadmaps & backlogs related to digital services planning and design and focus on research and best practices for digital services. Core job function as professional planning specialists, with responsibility for a planning and maintaining roadmaps or specialty area which require advanced knowledge in the field of work; responsible for highly complex assignments; and the job function has considerable impact within the department.

Key Results Accountabilities

• Managing and prioritizing the product backlog, maintaining the roadmap.
• Translating product managers’ strategies, story boards to tasks for development
• Learning the market and customers’ needs.
• Serving as a liaison between design, development teams and business departments.
• Staying accessible to development teams and business to answer questions.
• Review the engagement documents / statement of work in interest of department and ensure its coverage.
• Holds brainstorming and cross-product team collaboration sessions.
• Presents methods, explorations, and trade-off rationale along with recommendations to management.
• Research, Analyze and Develop reports which can qualitative and quantitatively support management for decision making.
• Any additional responsibilities as advised by the direct Line Manager or Head of Department.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or Computer Engineering from a recognized university.
• 8 years of working experience.
• Planning and maintaining the backlogs and related roadmaps.
• Highly analytical thinking with demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining complex work processes.
• Computer-literate performer with extensive software proficiency covering wide variety of applications.
• Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing.
• Resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Flexible team player who thrives in environments requiring ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple concurrent projects.
