About the company 


Our client is a high end beauty company that has been in the market since 2003. It was to fill a niche in the market for a high standard, multi-functional beauty lounge for busy UAE women. They are now looking for a seasoned marketer with a huge passion for digital marketing and a personal interest for beauty and fashion. 


Job Description:

  • Manage the creation and maintenance digital activities while ensuring compliance with set brand                    advertising and Marketing standards
  • Collaborate with Brand Manager, Ambassador and media suppliers to create, plan and execute               promotional programs to publicize and promote various activities, events or items
  • Lead and perform research studies to highlight consumers’ demographics and trends in the UAE
  • Prepare and supervise the Marketing department’s budget and the brands’ set Marketing budgets
  • Ensure proper execution of events through managing external relationships including all media & third party suppliers
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with agencies across the markets while ensuring adherence to agreed procedures, cost agreements and service levels
  • Oversee day-to-day management of campaigns and ensure brand consistency
  • Facilitate scaling brand and company awareness through various social media channels
  • Create and implement social media strategies monthly
  • Create original content for social media platforms and website blog section
  • Manage all aspects of social media interaction between customers and the company, and ensure a positive customer service experience
  • Create and execute actionable plans to both grow and maintain followers through popular social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn
  • Ensure progress on all platforms by using analytical tools such as Google Analytics and others
  • Management of the brand identity, based on a defined customer value proposition and our overall Pearson brand, working with internal and external design teams to create and manage identity across channels
  • The go-to-market strategy, working with our performance marketing team on channel strategy, messaging and content requirements
  • Briefing and managing consumer campaigns to meet retention and acquisition targets, working with content marketing and design teams to develop campaign content and assets
  • Monitoring profitability of the brand, ensuring the brand is competitive in the market, making decisions about price points and offers
  • Responding to market conditions: gathering and utilising market, competitor and customer data to plan time-sensitive campaigns and product improvements that support the success of brands in the market
  • Understanding consumer needs and insights within the sector and how the brand is performing vs other brands
  • Keeps abreast of newest trends and innovations in the industry, marketing and PR field.
  • Maintains an awareness of competitor marketing activity and best practices.
  • Takes a proactive approach to marketing, anticipating potential opportunities.
  • Understands the changing needs of the business and develops promotions to meet both short term and long term needs.
  • Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, youtube and Google My Business, adapting content to suit different channels
  • Oversee, plan and deliver content across different platforms using scheduling tools such as Facebook Studio or Sked, including Instastory creation and reposts
  • Engage with our customers via messenger tools
  • Create engaging multimedia content, organize, direct and oversee photoshoots and video shoots
  • Write captions in accordance to client guidelines and tone of voice, storytelling is key for this position
  • Form key relationships with influencers across the social media platforms
  • Undertake audience research
  • Manage and facilitate social media communities by responding to social media posts and developing discussions
  • Monitor, track, analyze and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook, Instagram and Sked insights
  • Research and evaluate the latest trends and techniques in order to find new and better ways of measuring social media activity
  • Recommend improvements to increase performance
  • Set targets to increase brand awareness and increase customer engagement
  • Manage a budget for social media activities
  • Regularly liaise with founders via telephone, email, conference calls or face-to-face
  • Suggest recommendations to adjust the social media marketing strategy for optimal results.
  • Stay up-to-date on latest social media trends and emerging social media platforms in the industry.
  • Manage the social media editorial calendar and ensure the content is published by the stipulated deadlines.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or any related courses and certifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the same role 
  • Immediate joiners will be prioritized
  • Outstanding ability to think creatively, identify and resolve problems.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere.
  • Startup experience a plus
  •  Individual must possess a minimum of five years combined senior management and communications experience in an organisation involving a significant number of people with diverse and varied interests and backgrounds.
  • Experience must include strategic planning, communications planning and management, marketing and media relations.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing or Communication
  • 3 - 5 years relevant work experience
  • Strong written and oral skills
  • Experienced leader and collaborator
  •  Desirable: proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
