Our client

Our client is providing an advanced transport network for the people of Dubai. They have been high on the government’s agenda, which is evident from its initiatives to enhance the public transport facilities and improve roads across the emirate to make travel safer and smoother. Our client is responsible for planning and providing the requirements of transport, roads & traffic in the United Arab Emirates.

 

Job Purpose

To support the Director – development and corporate performance and take direct management responsibility for the corporate performance section as defined within the approved roles and responsibilities document for the client.

 

Key Results Accountabilities

  • To review and approve performance management policies and methodologies (e.g. balanced scorecard and triple-bottom line) used. (Note: The primary emphasis is on strategic performance management).
  • To review and approve the processes used for data collection and verification within the client (as it relates specifically to data required for KPI reporting).
  • To review and approve policies and processes used for confirming KPI's and establishing performance targets for reporting purposes. (Note: The development of KPI's within the client are the responsibility of corporate planning)
  • To review and approve the format and content of regular and ad-hoc performance reports and trend analyses.
  • To review the policies and approve the processes used for performance analysis. (Note: The methodology used is key performance drivers and global benchmarking).
  • Lead and develop a high level of engagement in strategy & excellence team which develops corporate strategy for the client.
  • Perform other responsibilities associated with the position as appropriate.
  • To review performance improvement opportunities and approve those requiring further attention from other areas within the client. (Note: Performance management is responsible for identifying and handing over such opportunities to other departments such as audit, corporate planning and business development).

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in the business administration or equal from a recognized university.

  • Results-driven achiever with exemplary planning and organizational skills, along with a high degree of detail orientation.
  • Innovative problem-solver who can generate workable solutions and resolve complaints.

  • Flexible team player who thrives in environments requiring ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple concurrent projects.
  • Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing.
  • Resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • 7 years of experience.
  • Computer-literate performer with extensive software proficiency covering wide variety of applications
