Job Summary

Expand your communications career in a dynamic, broad-reaching role. To deliver on our strategic goals, we are seeking a Communications Manager who will be the head of communications in the Arabia Area and help further the companies’ brand and reputation in the region. In this position, you will work across functions with colleagues from communications, sales, marketing, and other areas to develop, implement and drive companies’ communication strategy in Arabia. You will report to the Communications Director of GME and Central Asia and you will be based in Saudi Arabia. We are looking for an energetic candidate with a passion for learning, strong strategic thinking, and a drive for results. In this role, you will work across a variety of communications disciplines and subject areas and communicate regularly with a wide range of audiences, including employees, key opinion leaders in the food and beverage industry, customers, and consumers. The position is open for applicants based in Saudi Arabia (Riyadh & Jeddah)

 

What you will do

  • In partnership with the Communications Director, develop a comprehensive communications plan that supports the business priorities of the companies’ Arabia Area.
  • Drive implementation of communications activities: Public relations– media relations, crisis communications, corporate social responsibility initiatives, press event planning and execution, presentation material development, thought leadership activities, industry association coordination, and education campaigns. Brand communications – maintenance of the company’s official channels and management of our presence online and in social media, brand content, sponsorships, events, tradeshows, and campaigns. Internal communications – internal news development and distribution, intranet optimization, leadership message development, town hall meeting planning and execution, internal event planning and execution. Also, support the Managing Director’s activities with the internal audiences.
  • Work with agencies to develop plans and materials in alignment with established communications strategy.
  • Liaise with global communications professionals in the implementation of communications activities.

We believe you have

  • A Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven track record of successful communications projects and activities.
  • Familiarity with digital communications tools, methods, and trends.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite; experience managing websites and familiarity with HTML preferred.
  • You should be A highly-driven and motivated individual with excellent communication skills.
  • Quickly establishing good working relationships with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
  • Able to navigate and influence a multicultural and global organization and have the mindset to constantly challenge and disrupt the status quo.
  • Able to synthesize large amounts of information and craft succinct, relevant, and impactful messages.
  • Able to speak and write in English with proficiency. 
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint; experience managing websites and familiarity with Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, or other photo/design software preferred
