Job description 

Reporting to the Head of Government Relations, you will be responsible for managing employee’s related activities which are required to be pursued with government bodies. The activities also include obtaining of company registration, registration with chambers of commerce, zakat certificate, visas, work permits, and iqamas for all employees.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervising the Public Relations Officers.
  • Keep an update on government regulations and statutory requirements and determine their impact on the company.
  • Promote and build strong positive relationships and reputations with high public officials and their staff.
  • Manage and oversee processes relating to Governmental issues concerning employees (i.e. issuance of business visas, visit visas, exit-re-entry visas, renewals of work permits, and Iqamas)
  • Management of payments and budgeting for the government relations department.
  • Provide consultancy to the project officers per the required business needs, and as per the updated regulations of local authorities.
  • Liaise with the Ministries and other government entities to resolve issues related to obtaining Saudization Certificates, Company registration certificates, registration with the Chamber of Commerce, etc.
  • Management of payments and budgeting for the government relations department by overseeing all related processes to any due government balance/ bill, and re-top up the GRD Balance after completing the required formalities of paid expenses

Qualifications 

  • 4-7 years of experience in a similar field.
  • Strong knowledge of local labor laws, GOSI, and visa processes with solid contacts with the Governmental entities in Saudi.
  • Has strong relationships and experience in all government departments.
  • Using government online applications
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic.
  • Communication skills.
  • Leadership skills.
  • High School degree
