About the Job
You will be responsible for overall planning, directing, controlling, coordinating and participating in all the operations for continuous contribution and improvement in revenues and cost controlling. Ensuring that the quality and standards of services are consistently maintained in highest level including operation, cleanliness and maintenance of the work areas. Taking full ownership of the general restaurant requirements as well as ensuring every aspect of the restaurants’ standards and procedures.
- Be responsible for supporting the smooth operation of the business and ensuring all guests receive the best possible level of service, care, and knowledge according to the restaurant standards.
- To arrive at work for scheduled shifts and be punctual, always following company absence, and lateness procedure if unable to do so.
- Standard of grooming, appearance, and good personal hygiene.
- To attend meetings/training sessions as required by the management team.
- To work as a team player at all times and be prepared to be flexible 1n order to ensure that operations are always as efficient and profitable as possible.
- To have a thorough knowledge of the food and dessert menu and drinks list.
- To be responsive to any guest’s request and need and pass on the information to the management team.
- To inform managers of any complaints/comments / perceived issues and to be hands-on and present in the restaurant at all times during service.
- To treat company property with due care and attention.
- To ensure the highest levels of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety at work at all times by the Health and Safety at Work Act 1977.
- Represent the restaurant and act as an ambassador of the restaurant for/at outside events
- To conduct weekly marketing meetings with the team to define a clear strategy to push the business.
- To conduct meeting with our external PR agencies, to drive them and develop/create more awareness/ business.
- Any guest complaints and inquiries are to be dealt with within 24 hours of receiving them.
