Job Purpose

We are looking for an experienced BDM with at least 5 years of experience in selling freight forwarding and logistics products. Our client is a well-established Danish company with offices in almost 20 countries worldwide. Being a Danish company the organisation prides if-self of being flat structured and they are looking for a candidate that is self-motivated, hard-working, is a fantastic relationship builder and has a great network within the freight forwarding industry in the UAE.


Key responsibilities

Main responsibility: Create and develop new customers for the organisation and maintain and grow these customers.

Other requirements are:

  • Build market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships
  • Create potential business deals by contacting potential partners
  • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with business operations
  • Discover and explore business opportunities
  • Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials
  • Evaluate options and resolve internal priorities
  • Develop negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations
  • Estimate partners’ needs and goals
  • Enhances organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests
  • Explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

Our Wishes

  • Bachelor or equivalent degree e.g. in Economics
  • Experience working in a Danish or other Northern European company
