About the position 
As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be a pivotal member of our clients regional team, providing essential technical support and driving sales of our innovative drainage solutions. This position requires a technically proficient individual with excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and a proven ability to achieve sales targets. A growth mindset is essential, as you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless implementation, ongoing support, and commercial success of our products.

Responsibilities and duties
  • Provide comprehensive technical support to customers and sales channels, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Actively participate in sales activities, promoting and selling drainage solutions to potential clients.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team, providing technical insights and ensuring alignment with customer requirements throughout the sales process.
  • Support the development of technical proposals and presentations to effectively communicate the value proposition of our drainage solutions.
  • Develop and maintain an expert understanding of our drainage solutions, staying updated on product features, enhancements, and technical specifications.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, assisting customers and internal teams with technical queries and requirements and conducting trainings.
  • Analyze and diagnose technical issues, working closely with customers and internal teams to implement effective solutions for drainage-related challenges.
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams and ensure timely resolution.
  • Foster connections and collaborations with certifying bodies and equipment suppliers to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Engage with industry consortia in the F&B sector, working closely with building and system designers to align our solutions with their needs.
  • Conduct seminars to educate teams on the latest advancements in drainage solutions and technical support methodologies.
  • Organize external training sessions for clients and partners to enhance their understanding and effective utilization of our products.
  • Set and achieve sales targets in collaboration with the sales team, contributing to the overall regional sales objectives.
  • Utilize CRM (Salesforce) to manage and track sales activities, pipeline updates, sales forecasts, and market feedback.
  • Provide regular sales reports to the management team, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Utilize CRM (Salesforce) effectively to manage leads, opportunities, and customer interactions throughout the sales lifecycle.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, etc.).
  • Additional certifications or training in technical support is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in a technical sales role, preferably in a related industry such as environmental solutions or drainage systems.
  • Familiarity with customer support tools, Salesforce, and sales CRM systems.
  • Familiarity with CAD Software.
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with both customers, Sales Channels, and internal teams.
  • Possesses a growth mindset, with a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment focused on innovation and continuous improvement.
