Align with client's vision, strategy and business needs to ensure that the key risks are identified and managed across the organisation. Improve business value through minimising risks and maximising opportunies.
Key results accountabilities
Consult with surface transport Operators, Contractors, Assessors and peers on the attitudes and practices of quality to develop an environment of continual improvement in every aspect of services for Risk Management.
Support the Crisis Management function by providing information related to Crisis Risks and communicating with various internal and External Parties including Dubai Police, Dubai Civil Defence and Dubai Ambulance Services on risk related issues.
Provide advice to other functional Department in developing risk procedures that align with ERM Framework.
Participate in ERM Workshops at an Agency Level as required
Provide independent assessment and advisory of key risks and potential mitigation actions.
Ensure established systems, processes, procedures and execution of ERM activities fully comply with ISO 31000, ISO 55001, ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001 or whatever the current ISO certifications / RTA regulations require.
Perform other responsibilities associated with the position as appropriate.
Facilitate ERM Workshops at Corporate Level as required
Manage the Active Risk Manager System including the administration and improvements to the system.
Implement directives from the Director of SRPD and provide full assistance for the execution of roles and duties.
Knowledge, skills & experience
- Bachelor degree in Engineering/Science from recognized university.

Excellent working knowledge in international risk management standards, functions, regulations and procedures.
Highly analytical thinking with demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining complex work processes.
7 years of experience in risk management in large transportation body (public / private), with risk management experience in most of the following types of risks: EOperational, Financial and Economic, Strategic, , Security, Safety (System Safety and Construction Occupational Health and Safety).
Resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues.
Successful track record of managing a risk management team preferred.
Computer-literate performer with extensive software proficiency covering wide variety of applications
