We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and optimise operational processes. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the efficiency of our operational activities to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction. Your focus will be on streamlining processes, optimising resources, and implementing best practices to enhance overall operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimise efficiency and reduce costs.
- Oversee daily operations, including inventory management, order fulfilment, and transportation coordination.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of goods.
- Monitor and analyse operational performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Lead and motivate a team to achieve departmental goals.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and implement process improvements.
- Utilise software and tools to track shipments, manage inventory, and optimize workflows.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on operational performance for management review.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operational management.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of applicable regulations and customs procedures.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are advantageous.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
