About Our Client: 

Our client is a high-end fine dining restaurant based in different locations, well-known of their palpable environment of scenic and exquisite motifs , having their own and guest DJ’s that creates a vibrant and energetic atmosphere in the place. 

About the Job

You will be responsible for overall planning, directing, controlling, coordinating and participating in all the operations for continuous contribution and improvement in revenues and cost controlling. Ensuring that the quality and standards of services are consistently maintained in highest level including operation, cleanliness and maintenance of the work areas. Taking full ownership of the general restaurant requirements as well as ensuring every aspect of the restaurants’ standards and procedures.


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Be responsible for supporting the smooth operation of the business and ensuring all guests receive the best possible level of service, care and knowledge according to the standards.
  • To ensure the premises is set up ready for business according to the standards and to handle the running of the business and management of the Head of Departments.
  • To drive the business by creating and implementing sales generational and promotional activities, including staff initiative.
  • To oversee and manage the Reservations and Events Team and Reception Team to ensure an efficient and strategic reservation management to maximise revenue.
  • To arrive at work for scheduled shifts and be punctual, always following company absence, lateness procedure if unable to do so.
  • Standard of grooming, appearance and good personal hygiene.
  • To ensure the highest levels of cleanliness, hygiene and safety at work at all times in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work in line with Dubai Municipality rules and regulations.
  • To understand and adhere to the UAE policy on First Aid and Fire & Safety SOPs.
  • To work hand in hand with the Head Security on establishing and maintaining the appropriate DIFC, UAE security protocols for guest, employee and facility safety.
  • To oversee and ensure an efficient and seamless running of the restaurant, bar, lounge and speakeasy whilst ensuring all financial and statutory requirements are met.
  • To conduct regular HOD meetings and provide clear and precise guidance and guidelines in order to maximize the potential of the business.
  • To develop a positive, direct and open culture of communication, both formal and informal to all HODs.
  • To make sure that all business-related information shared to all Management Team are being followed and enacted upon.

Requirements:  

  • Extensive knowledge and experience on operations within hospitality or in the food & beverages sector
  • Must have excellent leadership skills and a proven track record of successfully managing huge diverse team 
  • Must have experience in planning and directing operations in improving revenues and cost controlling.
  • Must have good standard of grooming and  personal hygiene with a pleasant & charismatic personality
