Our client

Our client is providing an advanced transport network for the people of Dubai. They have been high on the government’s agenda, which is evident from its initiatives to enhance the public transport facilities and improve roads across the emirate to make travel safer and smoother. Our client is responsible for planning and providing the requirements of transport, roads & traffic in the United Arab Emirates.

 

Job Purpose

Analyze data, information and prepare reports to support the various responsibilities of the Department aiming the performance enhancement of assets and ensuring the compliance with the approved polices and systems adhered by the department.

 

Key Results Accountabilities

  • Follow up the implementation the section tasks through automated systems as well as supporting the developmental procedures for the tasks related to the department as per instructed by the line manager
  • Participate in the development of projects related to the department and ensure the implementation of work plans, measuring department improvement and development results
  • Participate effectively in the collection, analysis and review of policies and processes related to the assets and document the update
  • Develop and update the section’s weekly plan and the weekly meeting agenda and follow-up on corrective action reports
  • Actively contribute to the collection, analysis, and review operational plans for development initiatives that support the improvement and development of department’s objectives
  • Prepare department's official letters to be shared with stakeholders at the authority level regarding all required procedures or recommendations of the Director / section manager
  • Prepare section's progress and outcome’s presentations when needed
  • Conduct Studies on annual awards participation plans at both local and international levels, and follow up on their implementation
  • Prepare annual benchmarking plans and following up on their implementation through the approved systems
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities associated with the position
  • Coordinate and implements the section's communication plan, and preparing minutes of meetings, approving, and following up on the Instruction’s implementation

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration from a recognized university
  • Highly analytical thinking with demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining complex work processes
  • Computer-literate performer with extensive software proficiency covering wide variety of applications
  • 6 years of working experience
  • Good project management skills
  • Flexible team player who thrives in environments requiring ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple concurrent projects
  • Proven ability to develop quality standards, testing procedures, inspection reporting formats, and ability to conceptualize tasks and accomplish them
  • Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing
  • Resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Good knowledge of statistical methods and their applications
