About the role


The Head of Communications occupies a unique and exciting role as they sit at the heart of our organization and work across all teams, giving them insight into all our work and allowing them to draw this together to build an exciting,

engaging narrative and body of work to build our profile.

Role & Responsibilities: 


    Sourcing press and communications opportunities for the Trade Commissioner / Consul General and other senior staff and lead the team to identify priority themes in support of the trade and investment objectives in Oman.

    Lead the communications approach for trade and investment including identifying opportunities to proactively deliver on the annual communications plan, increase the communications profile of high-value projects and initiatives and help to develop the network communications. This will also include writing and editing press releases, media advisories, and media pitching around core North American network activity.

    Contribute to regular analysis and evaluation of our communications to ensure value for money and effort.

    Represent the team at regular cross-team communications meetings.

    Other duties as assigned.


Requirements:

   8+years of experience in the Communication field with Investment companies.

   GCC Experience is a must
