Our client is the first restaurant of a well-established group located in Address Fountain Views. It offers Japanese Peruvian Cuisine, with or take on it which they call Beyond Nikkei.

Restaurant capacity is 220pax with both indoor and outdoor seating options. It will be a place for an impeccable dining experience and a cool vibey bar with tunes of Latin, tribal, and house music.

The brand’s vision is to become the best Nikkei restaurant in the coming year and earn its spot among 50 best restaurants in the Middle East and Asia the year after.


About the Job:

We are looking for a Restaurant Assistant Manager to ensure all daily activities run smoothly and efficiently.

The restaurant Assistant Manager’s responsibilities include ordering kitchen utensils and equipment based on our needs, managing contracts, and payroll, and supervising restaurant staff performance. To be successful in this role, you should be familiar with restaurant operations and have a good understanding of what makes great customer service. Ultimately, you will help minimise operating costs, boost employee retention, and deliver a positive dining experience for our guests.


Key Responsibilities:

·       Conducting training sessions

·       Performing payroll attendance sheet

·       Obtaining and analyzing product mix

·       Building close connections with colleagues and regular guests

·       Being present on the floor during operational hours, interacting with guests, and indicating where help is needed.

·       Performing returns/relay, ensuring that every booking will be seated on time

·       Writing End of service reports, and cashiering.

·       Keep detailed records of daily, weekly, and monthly costs and revenues

·       Arrange for new employees’ proper onboarding (scheduling training and ordering uniforms)

·        Monitor compliance with safety and hygiene regulations

·       Gather guests’ feedback and recommend improvements to our menus

 

 

Qualifications

·       Candidate must have strong beverage knowledge background.

·       Must have prior experience within the restaurant industry in the region.

·       Must have excellent organization and communications skills

·       Must have managerial or supervisorial experience
